Our students have impressive talent. Our program had an amazing year, and all of our students are to be commended.
The program has accomplished so much over the last few years, and it has had an incredible impact on our school. This year's seniors are the first graduating class in NHS history! There were many powerful testimonials about how AVID has changed their lives for the better, very incredible! Much thanks to Kim Perry, Stephanie Matter, and Vanessa Iaquinta for their leadership.
What a great night for the seniors! They walked away from the game with a 6-0 victory over the Class of 2016. this is the first game in a long time where an actual touchdown has been scored, so yay Seniors! This event wasn't just about the action on the field however; the "cheerleaders" really stole the show. Much thanks to Paulette Gasporra for her leadership.
Our school received a Bronze Medal from US News and World Report for being one of the best high schools in the nation. Nearly 20,000 schools were eligible for this recognition; only the top third were recognized. The award is based upon the academic achievement of all students as well as a college readiness index. Congratulations to everyone!
