Welcome to this exciting journey as we develop the creative talents of middle school students! This site is designed as an online kiosk of information for students and parents who want to learn more about the programs being designed for Benton Middle School this fall. I encourage you to check back often for the latest updates as our planning develops over the next few weeks and months. The Visual and Performing Arts Academy will incorporate 7 strands: Theatre Arts, Visual Art, Dance, Vocal Music, Instrumental Music, Creative Writing, and Media Arts.

 

The Visual and Performing Arts Academy is open to all middle school students who reside in and outside of the Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District. If you do not live in the Benton Middle School attendance zone, but are a resident of Norwalk-La Mirada, you will need to complete an Open Enrollment Form, available March 1-31, 2010. Open Enrollment forms are available to be downloaded in English or Spanish below. If you live within the attendance zone of another school district, you will need to secure an Out of District Permit from your local school district.
