            Middle School Counselor
 
Provides individual counseling to students, as they transition through middle school, along with guidance as they develop emotionally, physically, psychologically, as well as socially.  Facilitates individual and small group counseling to assist 
students with developing strategies in the areas of conflict resolution, decision-making, goal-setting, and problem-solving.
Initiates and/or collaborates with teachers and parents to provide academic counseling for students who are faced with
challenges, as an intervention to improve their academic performance.  Serves as a resource for students and parents,
utilizing counseling interventions, to minimize educational and/or social concerns.
