Music Instruction at New River!

New River is offering music instruction to ALL Kindergarten through Fifth grade students. Students receive 30 minutes of instruction per week. The instruments and lessons will focus around Rhythm and Movement. Music teachers will be providing interactive sessions with all students. The music curriculum includes:

KINDERGARTEN: Rhythm sticks, clapping, rhythm and singing
FIRST GRADE: Elementary rhythm with Percussion, singing and keyboarding
SECOND GRADE: Elementary rhythm and bells
THIRD GRADE: Rhythm, percussion, plates and keyboarding
FOURTH GRADE: World percussion and rhythm
FIFTH GRADE: World percussion and rhythm
