WELCOME TO KINDERGARTEN
Ms. Schendel, Mrs. Godair-Olson, Mrs. Montoya, and Mrs. Faulkinbury are very excited to meet your little ones. Below you will find important information to help make your child's transition to school exciting and fun.
SCHOOL BEGINS:
September 8th at 8:10 and will end at 12:45. If your child rides the bus please make sure they have their bus pass. A bus pass can be picked up in the office during office hours. It is very important they have their bus pass or they will not be able to board the bus.
SEPTEMBER 9TH:
School will be dismissed at its regular time 2:27.Again if your child will be riding the bus, please make sure they have their bus pass.
Drop off procedures:
Please drop off your child in his or her line (marked with the class room number). Please give your kisses and hugs at this time and allow the teacher to walk your child to his or her classroom.
Pick up procedures:
Children ridding the bus will be walked to the bus pick up area. Students' must have a bus pass to ride the bus. Please notify the office if your child is missing a bus pass. For student's being picked up by their parent or guardian, can be picked up at the gate located on Halcourt street in the kindergarten area. Please make sure when picking up your child you let the teacher on duty know you have your child. Only persons who are designated on the Emergency card will be able to pick up your child. Please make sure these documents are current. No one under the age of 18 will be allowed to pick-up your child.
Snack/Lunch:
Please make sure your child brings a healthy snack and lunch to school along with a healthy drink. At New River we also offer a healthy breakfast for the students before school. If your child will be joining us for breakfast please make sure it is before school so as they do not miss out on any learning time.
A pre made lunch is also available for your child. Please check the menu weekly to make sure the lunch choice is something your child will enjoy. If not please send something with them on that day. Lunches can be pre paid through this Website. Click on the link My Nutrikids.

Toys:
Please remind your child that toys are not allowed at school due to they may get lost or broken.
