Welcome to Glazier Elementary

Glazier Vision:

“Armed With Knowledge, Empowered for Life”

 Glazier Mission:

“Our mission is to empower students by developing their knowledge, skills and abilities

to enable them to control and enrich their own learning throughout their lives.”

Greetings Glazier Community,

It is an honor to have been chosen as your new principal.  Over the last 15 years, I have had the privilege serving the Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District as a teacher, literacy coach, administrative T.O.S.A, and assistant principal.  As we are about to embark on a new school year, I am excited to begin this journey as a Glazier Gladiator!

At Glazier Elementary, we are committed to inspiring and empowering our students to succeed, lead, and pursue excellence.  Students use critical thinking skills and strategies across curricular areas to expand and apply their knowledge within and outside of school.  We believe that in order to increase student achievement, it is essential to plan rigorous lessons, design projects that are relevant, and promote a safe environment where students, staff, and parents build positive relationships.  Glazier has amazing programs such as Arts for All, Positive Behavior Intervention Support, Project Lead the Way, Playworks, Meet the Masters, and ASES to ensure that we are developing well rounded citizens.  As a community, I am confident that we will work together to support the academic, personal, and social growth of our students.

I look forward to meeting all of our students and parents on the first day of school as we kick-off the 2014-2015 school year.

Go Gladiators!
