           La Pluma stands with a committed staff and community to provide academic-rich, arts-rich experiences!   Our mission is to inspire students to think, care, lead, and learn cooperatively in order to develop a lifelong spirit of learning.  Thank you for "teaming up" with our staff and students to provide a well-balanced education and well-rounded students! 
 
               The 2011-2012 school year found us reaching new heights!  Our students grew 31 points this past school year bringing our API to 861!  We are excited about the rise in student achievement, but more importantly we are thrilled about how we will continue to build partnerships within our community and work to make learning a meaningful experience for our students!
 
                 We not only have a community of parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, and other family member support, but we also enjoy our partnership with La Mirada High School, Biola University, as well as the many "former" students and parents that volunteer to support student achievement.  Our goal is to build a community of learners by putting the right supports in place to reach all students academically, socially, and emotionally.  Thank you for joining us in this team effort to make every minute matter for our students!
