TreePeople’s Youth Leadership Program invites Los Angeles area high school students to apply for our Summer Tree Care Internship to help protect our city’s trees and combat the effects of the drought. Trees are the most vital resource for environmental well-being in urban areas. While it may seem counter-intuitive to irrigate trees in a water crisis, it is the single most important thing to do. Join us in caring for the trees of Los Angeles this summer and help nature heal our city!
Those of you who are on the waiting list you have from today, Friday 23rd through June 6th to pay for your Grad Nite ticket. If you are not able to go now you will be obligated for the $95 for the Grad Nite ticket since one was ordered specifically for everyone on the Waiting list. You may wiggle out of this obligation if you can find another NHS senior to buy your ticket and make sure they complete the Clearance Form and Grad Nite contract. Then we can sell your ticket to the buyer you found. The cost for the Grad Nite ticket is $95.00. No ticket can be sold to a senior if he/she has not done the paperwork to go.
For those of you who still want to go to Disneyland and neglected to buy a ticket or get on the waiting list we have an opportunity that might allow you to buy a ticket still. If someone on the waiting list cannot go to Grad Nite we may be able to sell the ticket to you. But remember no ticket can be sold without the Clearance form and Grad Nite contract being turned in. Come to the finance office to pick up the Clearance form if you have not started any of the Grad Nite paperwork. And once the paperwork is completed and turned in we can put you on a list to purchase Grad Nite tickets. First come – First serve!
