Hello Lancers: I’m very proud to announce that our first ever Commitment to Graduate (C2G) was a smashing success! Our Link Crew did a fantastic job of inspiring our 9th grade students, and helping them realize the value of graduating from high school and preparing for both college and career. Several of our Link Crew leaders spoke to the freshmen about their experiences in high school, and shared strategies for success. The 9th graders all signed a pledge to graduate, and then posed in their caps and gowns for a picture. After this, former San Diego Charger Reggie Berry talked the students about how “the tassel is worth the hassle,” and challenged them to think about their purpose. The event ended with a fun “flash mob” dance routine that was lots of fun. Click title to read more.
