  • CLASS Parent Night!

We have a CLASS parent meeting tomorrow night at 6 in the Library. All parents are welcome, so I would appreciate it if you would encourage your students to bring their parents. IF YOU TEACH JUNIORS, please encourage them in particular to bring their parents to attend tomorrow night’s CLASS parent meeting. I will be sharing some information about the Early Assessment Program (EAP) and how it is connected with the new SBAC tests. As you know, if the students participate in the EAP and earn a sufficient score, they will place directly into college-level courses at all CSU schools and most community colleges.

In Ms. Vests' class her special needs students have taken to using iPads and AppleTV like real pros. It's really impressive with how they are using this tech to interact with the lesson, Ms. Vest, and each other.

  • Socratic Seminar

In Ms. Juan's class they are discussing the novel Fahrenheit 451. The insights of our students are really great, the level of engagement is impressive. It is clear that they have a deep understanding of this novel, and can apply its themes.
