Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District is proud to announce that Benton Middle School, Hutchinson Middle School, and Norwalk High School have been selected by the California Department of Education as 2026 California Distinguished Schools.

Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District is proud to celebrate a historic milestone. For the first time in District history, all five NLMUSD middle schools are simultaneously recognized as “Schools to Watch,” a prestigious designation awarded to high-performing middle schools across the nation.

Southeast Academy cadets delivered an impressive performance this past weekend at their first Drill Competition of the season, held at Fontana High School. Competing against multiple schools, the Southeast Academy Drill and Color Guard teams demonstrated exceptional discipline, teamwork, and dedication.
