NLMUSD Hybrid Reopening Video

Legislative Update: AB104 Information

On Thursday, July 1, 2021, Governor Newsom signed Assembly Bill 104 into law, and we’d like to provide you with important information on how this legislation may relate to your student. Secondary Parent Commitment Form

Secondary schools will be re-opening for hybrid instruction on April 26, 2021. Please click on the news article to complete our survey by April 19, 2021.

Learning Model Commitment Form

On March 1, 2021, the NLMUSD School Board voted to reopen elementary schools:
Preschool and Grades TK – 2 on March 29, 2021
Head Start and Grades 3 – 5 on April 12, 2021

Elementary school parents/guardians have the option to choose if their child remains in distance learning or returns to school for in-person instruction in a hybrid model.

Please select your option by completing our online form by Monday, March 15, 2021. The option you select for your child(ren) is for the remainder of the school year. If we do not receive your commitment form by March 15, 2021, your child will be placed in the revised distance learning model for the remainder of the year. recipients of the state’s leading educational honor, the Golden Bell Award for its 2020 Learning Initiative. The Golden Bell Awards, now in their 39th year, are sponsored by the California School Boards Association to recognize outstanding public school programs for innovation, sustainability and best practices that facilitate positive student outcomes.
