Contracts Deadline for 2012 Board Meetings

Contracts Deadline for 2012 Board Meetings

The Business Services Office publishes cutoff dates for submitting contracts so that we can complete all of the steps shown on the flow chart and submit the contracts recommendation sheet (Section 14 of Board Agendas) to the Superintendent’s Office by the deadline set by their office.  So that you have a clear understanding of the time it takes and the process for your contracts to obtain approval, we strongly encourage you to review the flow chart.
Below are the 2012 cutoff dates for contracts submitted for board approval, based on the Superintendent’s timelines for agenda items.

Helpful hints to ensure approval of your contracts.

  • When preparing Independent Contractor Agreements, follow the guidelines.  This is a great resource tool!
  • Contracts should be prepared and submitted for board approval based on the above board meeting dates prior to contractors beginning work.
  • All contracts must have the Request for Contract Approval form completed and submitted with the corresponding contract.
  • Site personnel should review contracts for accuracy and completeness prior to submitting to the Business Services Office.

Thank you for your attention, cooperation and support.  Here’s to a successful 2012!
