Welcome to Center Stage Childcare-Dolland.
My name is Mariana Tapia De Vasquez. I am a graduate of Cerritos College with an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, with ECE certificates in Special Education and Childhood, Infant and Toddler. Working with children is my passion and I enjoy every minute of it!
My philosophy in teaching and children continues to grow as I experience working with them. I do believe that each child is a unique individual with the potential of bringing something new and unique into the world. As unique individuals, children develop at different rates and have different interests. For that, I feel that each adult, parent and teacher can help guide them through the process of discovering who they are and what they enjoy as individuals. I feel that children need a chance to be just what they are-children. I think that children should be encouraged to think independently and creatively, that they should be treated with respect and kindness. As adults we should model these traits so children can observe and learn. I believe that adults provide security and protection for children and when children feel secure and happy there is no limit their learning.
Being part of the Center Stage team is a privilege and pleasure to work for. I am blessed and thankful for the opportunity to work in a nurturing environment where children can learn and experience new challenges that will help them build their confidence. My goal is to be the best teacher I can be, be open to new ideas, work together as a team, maintain a close relationship with families and be a good role model.
Welcome to Center Stage Childcare-Dolland
My name is Heidi S. Ramos-Pineda. I have worked for NLMUSD since 2016 as a Substitute Paraeducator for Special Education. Working with the students has led me not only to acquire some experience but to learn great things from each of the children with whom I have worked with. I have also learned that each child learns in different ways and at different times.
A few things about myself. I am the oldest of six children. I have three sisters and two brothers. My parents are originally from Mexico and although I was born in the City of Los Angeles and grew up here, I feel very proud and attached to my roots. I really like music, dancing, reading books but most importantly, I love working with children.
I am very excited and grateful to start this new opportunity in my life. I want to be an example for the children as well as help them reach their creative and artistic goals. I am looking forward to learning new things from the students, parents, and co-workers.
I am looking forward to having an excellent school year with the Center Stage Program.
