Welcome to Center Stage AM Program

Hello, my name is Cecilia Hernandez. I have been working for the ARCC Center Stage program for 8 years. I first began working for the Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District as a Substitute Paraeducator for Special Education in 2005. I held this position for 4 years and when A.R.C.C. opened up in 2009 I decided to go for it, and it has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. No two days are ever the same and the kids teach me something new every day. I love working with children and making a positive impact in their lives.

A little bit about myself, I was raised in Norwalk and I attended some awesome local schools: Glazier Elementary, Los Alisos Middle School, Norwalk High School, Southeast R.O.P. and Cerritos College. In addition to being a dedicated hard worker, I am also a mother of 2. I have a daughter who is 9 and a son who just turned 5 months. So when I’m not working I love spending quality time with my family. Well that’s a little bit about me.

I’m looking forward to a wonderful school year!

Welcome to Center Stage PM Program

My name is Brianne Starheim and this is my 5th year working for the program.   I have received my Associates Degree in Liberal Arts and Science at Cerritos Community College.  I am continuing my education to obtain my Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies to become an Elementary School Teacher.  I have worked with children for eleven years and it is the most rewarding job I could ever do.  I like working with children because I want to make a difference in their lives.

A few things about myself are I am hard working, organized, welcoming and patient. I also have a second job working at Starbucks where I have been employed for eight and a half years.

I look forward to a great and successful 2017-2018 school year.  Let the learning begin!
