Educational Services

Welcome to the Norwalk-La Mirada Department of Educational Services.

The Division of Educational Services is responsible for all educational programs, pre-kindergarten through adult. We are responsible for overseeing school operations, curriculum development, and instruction at each of the twenty-eight sites in the district. In addition, we also oversee the following: Staff Development, School Based Coordinated Programs, Student Assessment and Evaluation, Child Welfare and Attendance, Instructional Technology, and Special Education.

The Educational Services Division also coordinates day to day operations at all sites including programs and services such as Pre-K Programs; after school day care; Counseling; Arts Program; Athletics; School to Career and Academy Programs; District Guidance; Migrant Education; Alternative Programs; Summer School; and Federal and State Programs.

The Assistant Superintendent for Educational Services is responsible for all K-12 Curriculum and Instruction. Our Directors are responsible for assisting all schools in the area of operations, instruction, and curriculum.
