School-Age Child Care Program
Welcome to the Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District School-Age Child Care (SACC) Program
The SACC/Expanded Learning Program is open to care for school-aged children from TK to 5th grade in a safe, enjoyable, and supportive environment. The SACC/ELP Program will offer your child an array of enrichment activities that will not only promote cognitive development, but also engage your child socially and emotionally.
Enrollment Eligibility:
Your child must be enrolled at the school where program services are requested. Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis with limited enrollment at each site. When the SACC/ELP is enrolled to capacity; a waiting list will be maintained. Parents will be contacted as openings occur. Tuition scholarships may be available for students who meet the Expanded Learning Opportunity Program eligibility criteria.
Registration:
SACC/ELP is currently operating at Dulles Elementary, Escalona Elementary, Gardenhill Elementary, La Pluma Elementary, and Eastwood Elementary. Middle School Expanded Learning After School Programs are currently available for eligible 6th grade students at Benton M.S. and Hutchinson M.S. Registration for SACC/ELP services occur on an annual basis.

SACC/ELP Open Registration is for all new students seeking enrollment into the program. |
Open Registration will occur online through the link below. Please do not send or submit any fees or payments at this time. You will be notified when those items are due.
Homework Assistance:
On a daily basis, your student will be provided an uninterrupted time and place to work on homework, as needed. During this time, staff will monitor and check for understanding with students and assist with questions regarding assignments.
Indoor/Outdoor Recreation:
Board games, cards, puzzles, blocks, and manipulatives will be available for both small and large group interaction. Free play as well as organized games will be made available for your children.

School Dismissal - 6:00 p.m. (Wednesday: Early School Dismissal - 6:00 pm)

7:00 -Start of School AND School Dismissal - 4:30 p.m.
Option 2:
7:00 - Start of School AND School Dismissal - 6:00 p.m.
Do not submit any form of payment with your Open Enrollment form. You will be contacted if a space is available for your child. You can view the program fees in the link below.
