Returning Student Registration
Returning Student Registration for Grades TK-12 for the 2025-26 school year begins April 8.
NLMUSD Families are required to complete a "Returning Student Registration Form" each school year. Families are now able to complete their returning registration through their Parent Portal Accounts.
Information about accessing your Parent Portal account have been sent to families through the email address used during their new student registration. This email was sent from "noreply@nlmusd.k12.ca.us". If you did not receive this email, or need to change your primary email, please contact your school site.
Completing Returning Student Registration is important for both families and your schools because:
- This allows you to update your emergency contact information.
- This allows you to update your students medical/allergy information.
- Review and acknowledge the most current student handbook and district policies.
- Learn and enroll in different programs to help support your child.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURES
- Parent/Guardian will complete registration online using the registration links below.
- Parent/Guardian will submit the following necessary documents via photo upload in registration application to complete the enrollment: birth certificate, proof of residence, immunization records and transcripts.
- Documents will be processed by home school or school of choice.
- Site will contact parent/guardian upon completion of the enrollment process and provide next steps for students, including their right for Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE).
